Zoom XYH-5 Shock Mounted Stereo Microphone Capsule for Select Zoom Recorders

Zoom's XYH-5 X/Y microphone capsule is equipped with 2 matched unidirectional condenser microphones pre-set positioned at a 90 degree angle from each other, and designed for seamless integration with compatible Zoom equipment (additional equipment sold separately; please refer to below for compatibility). The mics are housed within an advanced shockmount that incorporates robust and rugged external mic wires along with rubberized material to minimize vibration and handling noise, making this handy device ideal for location videography as well as live broadcast/podcast applications. Its design also allows it to handle extremely loud sounds—140 dB SPL, to be precise (equivalent to the sound of a jet aircraft from less than 200 feet away), so it's great for capturing the sound of everything from live rock concerts to electronic news gathering applications and more.
