AKG PAESP M Phantom Power Adapter Module with Programmable Switch

The PAESP M from AKG is part of their Discreet Acoustics Modular PLUS (DAM+) Series. it's a programmable phantom power module for both fixed and mobile installation. Thanks to its wide voltage range, it will work with most available mic mixers. It comes equipped with a unique BCD (binary coded decimal) switch allowing users to switch between operating modes. Several functions can are adjustable, e.g. bass roll off, LED ring mode (on, off, follow mic function), along with the mic switch mode (push to mute, push to talk, push on - push off).

It features a completely noiseless microphone switch; rather than actually disconnecting the signal, it reduces the level by 26dB, which lets it avoid the irritating crackling sound when phantom powering is interrupted. The switch is inconspicuously positioned, but easily accessible for simple handling, even by inexperienced talkers. The integrated system connector features gold-plated contacts and is made to securely fit all available DAM+ Series mounting modules.
