It offers a highly effective cardioid pickup pattern that provides isolation of the main sound source while also minimizing background noise. It's the standard for drum and instrument amp miking, but performs exceptionally well for vocals as well.

The MST100-30B from Vu is a standard height microphone stand with a telescopic boom and tripod base. The tripod base adds stability and folds down for easy storage and transport. The height of the stand is adjustable from 37.75" to 65.625" while the length of the boom arm is adjustable from 21.375" to 33.625". The boom arm terminates in the industry-standard 5/8" thread. This microphone stand/boom combination stand is ideal for churches, schools, clubs, conference rooms, music venues or anywhere PA systems are being used.
