Eartec's HUB7DMXD is a combined UltraLITE & HUB system that delivers expanded HUB system functionality – specially designed for larger crews. This package includes the HUB wearable Mini Base which connects directly to a Max 4G Double wired headset, along with 6 UltraLITE Wireless Double headsets, all in all dellivering a 7-person com system. Package also includes convenient storage/carry case, batteries, and multi-battery charger, making it a great value.
HUB Wearable Mini Base Station - This system is engineered for larger crews that require full-duplex communication while simultaneously working with their hands. It's a compact transceiver weighing in at only 9 oz., and can either be strategically placed "on location" or belt-worn. It features (2) channels, uses rechargeable Lithium batteries, and operates in the license-free DECT band. When comfortably clipped to the user's waist, it moves right along with your group, providing total group mobility and allowing up to 6 UltraLITE wireless headsets to remain connected in full duplex, within a 400 yard range of the HUB, plus this particular system is designed to employ the HUB itself to be used as the 7th full duplex com transceiver employing the additional included Eartec wired Max4G Double headset plugged into its onboard dual-pin input jack.
UltraLITE Double Headset - Regarding performance and convenience, these headsets eclipse other full-duplex wireless headsets, thanks to the innovative design that features the transceiver built right into its ear cup; a self-contained "all-in-one" design that eliminates wires and even belt-worn radios. They provide simultaneous talk and 2-way voice communication for users. The mic boom swivels 270° allowing the headset to be worn on the left or right, and features AutoMUTE technology – muting the mic when put in the "up" position (see "AutoMUTE" below).
Max4G Double Headset - A tremendous asset to your system, the Max4G is a midweight headset that offers a fully-adjustable headband as well as deluxe foam padding to ensure a comfortable-yet-firm fit. Just like on the UltraLITE headsets above, the mic boom arm rotates 270°, and automatically mutes the microphone when shifted to the "up" position (see "AutoMUTE" below).
AutoMUTE - This technology is newly-developed by Eartec engineers, and is featured on many of their headsets, employing specialty microphone assemblies that have an internal micro switch which mutes the headset mic gain automatically when positioned in the "up" position; a much simpler and more efficient way to mute your microphone vs. fumbling for, and pressing, a "mute" button on your beltpack.
Field Replaceable Lithium Battery - Only about the size of a matchbook, and lightweight, the charge time for these is approximately 3 hours and headset usage time is approximately 6 hours. Since they're removable, and are externally chargeable with the Multi-Port charger, they can be swapped out in seconds.
Multi-Port Charger - Charges the headset batteries within individual charging bays. Once each battery achieves full charge, its corresponding LED indicator changes from red to green, showing that the battery is charged. This allows users to have extra batteries on hand and ready to go when necessary (extra batteries sold separately).
Softside Case - This nice package includes a Softside Case from Eartec that keeps your wireless system stored safely. Made of waterproof nylon, it provides internal compartments to help keep the headsets organized. There's also a pocket with Velcro closure for the charger and any spare batteries (additional batteries sold separately). Its hard-plastic molded handle enables easy, convenient transport for "on location" work.
