Sonifex PS-SEND Audio to IP Streaming Encoder

A freestanding audio to IP converter, the Soniflex PS-SEND (also available in a 1U rack-mount version as the PS-SENDS, sold separately) receives audio from a number of user-selectable external stereo sources such as balanced and unbalanced analog audio, AES/EBU, S/PDIF, and TOSlink digital audio. It encodes the selected audio source in real time, then sends it to the network as an encoded stream. This audio stream can then be distributed over an IP-based network to one or more PS-PLAY or PS-AMP units (both sold separately), or other proprietary servers, including those for Shoutcast or Icecast.
