Audio-Technica BP894CH-TH Submini Cardioid Condenser Headworn Mic, No Power, 4-pin cH Connector, Beige

The BP894cH-TH MicroSet, brought to you by Audio-technica, is a Subminiature Cardioid Condenser Headworn Microphone package that has a permanently-attached 55" (1.4m) miniature cable which is terminated for use with Audio-technica 6000 Series Wireless Transmitters (sold separately). This particular model comes colored beige – great for theatrical stage applications– and provides a cardioid polar pickup pattern.

Features include 2 easily-switchable frequency response settings: flat and low-end rolloff via its onboard 80 Hz high-pass UniSteep® filter. The roll-off setting lowers the mic’s sensitivity to popping and other plosives in closeup vocal use. It also lowers the amount of low-frequency ambient noise pickup (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), as well as room reverberation and mechanically-coupled vibrations.

Its flexible design includes a unique 180-degree rotating capsule housing, so it can be worn on either the left or right ear (see below). Its handy talk-side indicator shows the user which way the capsule should be turned for their desired position.

A cable clip is provided for strain relief, which lets the microphone securely remain in place without the weight of the cable pulling on the headset.

In addition, the AT8464 Dual-Ear Microphone Mount is also supplied, allowing you to convert your single ear-worn BP894 MicroSet into a dual-ear-worn configuration which can also enable the microphone to be worn to either the left or right of your mouth. The headband easily adjusts to fit both children and adults.
