Audio-Technica BP894CH Submini Cardioid Condenser Headworn Mic, No Power, 4-pin cH Connector, Black

The BP894cH MicroSet offered by Audio-technica is a Subminiature Cardioid Condenser Headworn Microphone package with a permanently-attached 55" (1.4m) miniature cable that's terminated for use with Audio-technica 6000 Series Wireless Transmitters (sold separately). It comes colored black, and has a cardioid polar pickup pattern.

It features 2 easily-switchable frequency response settings: flat and low-end rolloff via its integral 80 Hz high-pass UniSteep® filter. The roll-off setting reduces the mic’s sensitivity to popping and other plosives in closeup vocal use. It also reduces the amount of low-frequency ambient noise pickup (such as traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), room reverberation, and mechanically-coupled vibrations.

With a unique 180-degree rotating capsule housing, its flexible design lets it be worn on either the left or right ear (see below). A talk-side indicator shows the user which way to turn the capsule housing for their desired position.

A cable clip is provided for strain relief, letting the microphone remain securely in place without the weight of the cable pulling on the headset.

Additionally, the AT8464 Dual-Ear Microphone Mount is supplied with this package and allows you to convert your single ear-worn BP894 MicroSet to a dual-ear-worn configuration which can also enable the microphone to be worn to either the left or right of your mouth. The headband easily adjusts to fit both children and adults.
