DPA 4288-DC-F-F34-LH 4288 Cardioid Flex Headset Mic with 120mm Boom and 1/8" Mini-Jack, Beige

The DPA Microphones 4288-DC-F-F34-LH, a member of their 4088 family, is a headset mic colored beige with a 120mm (3.9") boom, and has a cardioid polar pickup pattern. In addition, it has a Mini-Jack connector for use with Sennheiser Evolution, G2, X2 Digital Wireless transmitters and more - sold separately.

The cardioid polar pickup pattern brings exceptional off-axis rejection to high-SPL situations and efficiently suppresses distant sound sources, so it's great for demanding live performance environments where feedback and background noise are concerns.

Its smooth, elegant design puts it among the most invisible head-worn cardioid mics in the world. The mic capsule is a first-order pre-polarized pressure-gradient transducer hidden in a small and lightweight housing. The headset (dual-ear) type mic sits more securely around the head and is great for active performance situations where the person wearing it won’t feel the presence of the microphone. And it can be mounted on either the right or left side by simply rotating the boom and ear hook.
