The 4288-DC-F-F00-LH from DPA Microphones is a cardioid headset mic that's part of their 4088 Series, featuring one of the clearest, consistent, and most robust miniature mics you'll find on the market. This particular model comes with an extra-long 120mm (4.7") boom which will accommodate varying uses and head sizes and is colored beige. Additionally, it comes equipped with a MicroDot connector, allowing versatile connection options via DPA's flexible adapter system, offering compatibility with 3rd-party wireless systems on the market (adapters and wireless systems sold separately).

Its cardioid, directional pickup pattern delivers superb off-axis rejection in high-SPL situations, efficiently suppressing distant sound sources, and making it ideal for demanding live performance environments where background noise and feedback are concerns.

The mic capsule is a first-order pre-polarized pressure-gradient transducer hidden in a small and lightweight housing. Its sleek, elegant design puts it among the most invisible head-worn cardioid microphones available, and it's mountable on either the right or left side.
