The Eartec SSTSC3000LP is a 3-user, 2-way radio system that consists of (3) SC-1000 Scrambler series radio transceivers along with (3) SST headsets.

Scrambler SC-1000 UHF Radio - A compact, Professional 2-way UHF radio transceiver designed for office, factory, or many other on-location communications across a multitude of industries. All SC-1000 transceivers operate in "Simples" mode, meaning that when 1 group member transmits, all other group members receive the message. An unlimited number of these transcievers can work together on the same frequency, and since these are multi-channel units, users can switch the frequency channel simply via a simple frequency dial adjustment. Also included is a special "Speech Enunciation" feature, where the transceiver can actually announce, in spoken English, which channel the unit is operating on, to the user, with the headset speaker. In addition, these units have the power to transmit through walls and between buildings.

Factory-programmed to provide discreet private 2-way voice contact, all of Scrambler's outgoing transmissions are digitally encrypted and scrambled for eavesdropping prevention. Also, CTCSS frequency-guard blocks outside interference, protecting the receive circuit. Combined, these features ensure completely private communications.

SST Headset - The most diminutive headset available to use with Scrambler UHF radios, Eartec's SST (Secret Service Type) headset is a lightweight unit that includes a clear, flexible coil tube along with an ear bud speaker rather than a traditional headband with earcup. Plus, the mic is combined with a push-to-talk switch and conveniently clips to the collar, lapel, or shirt pocket of the user. These features all make it a popular headset wherever discreet communications are necessary, such as food service, church production, and more.
