M-Audio BX5-D3 5" Powered Studio Reference Monitor

The M-Audio BX5-D3 is a 5" powered studio reference monitor designed for the demands of session mixing. Driving the low-end and midrange are BX5-D3’s 5-inch military-grade Kevlar® woofers. The cones are rigid, lightweight, and deliver outstanding transient response, and accurate bass, while the BX5- D3’s treated silk dome tweeters provide clear crisp highs. Together the BX drivers deliver critical detail, nuance, and dynamic accuracy, so your mixes have the veracity and transparency you demand.

The 100W internal bi-amplified design delivers 60W of power to drive the low end, and 40W for the highs, resulting in a transparent, powerful sound that you can count on. There's an integrated Acoustic Space Control that allows fine-tuning of low-end response to fit your room, and a rear port for extended bass response. Connections are provided via balanced XLR and 1/4" rear panel jacks so you can hook your audio interfaces, mixers, synthesizers, DJ gear and more.
