Attero Tech unHX2D Dante-Enabled HDMI Audio De-Embedder/Embedder

The unHX2D is a Dante™-enabled HDMI de-embedder/embedder from Attero Tech that's designed to bridge 2-channel PCM HDMI audio to/from a Dante audio network. Additionally, it includes 2 line-level analog inputs and outputs that can be independently bridged to/from a Dante audio network as well. It features an adjustable audio delay buffer included on the Dante output for modifying audio and video lip sync, along with flexible audio routing between system input sources and outputs, installer-adjustable EDID management, and facilitates bridging audio from either video sources or monitors to a Dante network. The HDMI output operates as a pass-thru repeater of the HDMI input video source.

Information regarding Firmware Comparability

There are 2 control interface options (and consequently model types) available for this device. Each interface type requires different firmware to be loaded into the unit. The first type is the Symetrix/AES67/Dante proprietary interface (-C model) which is typically used, already having built-in support for Attero Tech devices. The second firmware option enables a 3rd party UDP (-U model) interface and is available to anyone to use with a device capable of forming and sending a UDP message as well as receiving and parsing the response.
