Point Source CR-8D-BR Cardioid Dual Ear Headset Microphone, Brown

Point Source Audio's CR-8D-BR is part of their CR-8D series. It's a cardioid dual-ear headset style microphone that's ideal in applications where more than one mic is being used, in live performances, and even in some recording situations. The cardioid mic will pick up one focused sound from one direction compared to an omnidirectional mic that picks up from basically all directions. A unique benefit of the CR-8D series is that the capsule is specially miniaturized and there is no need to force the mic to be directly in front of the mouth as with other cardioid microphones. This headset mic's boom can be set to effectively and comfortably at the corner of the mouth so an unobstrusive appearance is easily achieved. Built with Point Source's robust "Unbreakable Boom" bendable to 360°, the boom length is adjustable, as are the earhooks to convert for left or right ear wearablility. Interchangeable X-Connectors are available, enabling compatibility with all popular wireless systems (see pictures below); one user-friendly X-Connector is included with each headset microphone at no additional cost (please specify when ordering. The smart threaded screw design keeps the headset connector securely in place but is simple to remove and exchange for another X-Connector compatible with any number of wireless systems (additional X-Connectors sold separately).
