Product Overview

An instrument pickup microphone system designed especially for use with woodwinds, the ATM350W UniMount® mounting system gives you the tools to perform with confidence. This particular system features the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone, a high-SPL (sound pressure level) mic that delivers a clear, well-balanced audio response from any instrument. When employed with the included AT8491U UniMount® universal clip-on mount, plus the strong and flexible AT8490 UniMount® 5" gooseneck, this mic system can be securely affixed to any woodwind instrument, then positioned to stay where you want it. The mount has a unique spring-loaded mechanism that clamps it tightly to the bell of a brass instrument, providing excellent shock-resistance, while the gooseneck’s rigidity ensures that it won’t flop around no matter how aggressively you play.

The mic’s polar pattern offers isolation of the desired instrument's signal via the reduction of side and rear pickup, and its switchable 80Hz high-pass filter on its in-line power module helps control undesired low-frequency (LF) noise.
