Product Overview

An instrument pickup microphone system — in this case specially-designed for use with drums, the Audio-Technica ATM350D UniMount® mounting system gives you the tools to perform with confidence. This particular system features the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone, a high-SPL (sound pressure level) mic that delivers a clear, well-balanced audio response from any instrument. When it's used with the included AT8491D drum mount plus the strong, flexible AT8490 5" gooseneck, the mic can be securely affixed to the drum, then positioned to stay where you want it. The drum mount is equipped with a unique spring-loaded mechanism that clamps it tightly to a drum lug (without hindering your ability to adjust the lug) and provides the mic with excellent shock-resistance, while the gooseneck’s rigidity ensures that it won’t flop around no matter how aggressively you play.

The mic’s polar pattern offers isolation of the desired instrument's signal through the reduction of side and rear pickup, and its switchable 80Hz high-pass filter on its in-line power module helps control undesired low-frequency (LF) noise. This system also includes an AT8468 violin mount with hook-and-loop fastener as well. and a protective carrying case.
