Chimera Lighting 1170 Super Pro X - White Large Strip, Model 1170

Chimera's 1170, part of their Super Pro X Lightbank series, provides image makers an ideal tool for controllable soft light applications. These light banks include a removable front screen and inner baffle, with attachment via easy to use Velcro. The 1170 Large Strip provides an elongated rectangular shape that gives users a classic clean light, useful in a wide variety of lighting situations, either as a key or fill light, and features incredibly durable construction as well as a wide range of flexibility for light shaping. Super Pro X banks come with form-fitting rear cowling designed to close around the speed ring, helping to control light leaks. This cowling can be opened for heat venting to protect the strobe from overheating.

Super Pro X Lightbanks offer the user a wide range of accessories for the customization and shaping of the light. For help in controlling the softness of the light, honeycomb metal grids and collapsible fabric Egg Crate® grids (all sold separately) can control the spread, while Chimera’s flexible fabric barn doors (sold separately) are also an excellent option for simple, quick control to help you achieve Perfect Lighting.

The white interior is produces a soft and even output while still maintaining efficiency, helping produce a softer light from the lightbank. Compared to similar lightbanks with a silver interior, the evenness of a white interior lightbank output is 10-20% smoother.
