Breedlove's Solo 12-String acoustic-electric guitar provides clearly articulated single notes while the Breedlove Bridge Truss delivers additional sustain and clarity. The Solo 12-String is features a side sound hole that projects sound directly toward the ear to allow guitarists to more clearly hear their own performance.
Breedlove Solo 12-String Features:
- Body Shape: The Breedlove Concert is the original Breedlove shape. Designed for the fingerstylist to be well-balanced, compact, and comfortable, it generates an articulate range of tone with an ample low end.
- Breedlove Pinless Bridge: The Pinless Bridge maintains integrity of the top by eliminating the need for six drilled string holes. This allows a more even sound wave without any loss of energy, and also provides a gentler string-break angle from the bridge to the top of the saddle to reduce saddle strain.
- Breedlove Bridge Truss: The Breedlove Bridge Truss reduces tension on the soundboard of the guitar so the top wood is able to vibrate more freely and produce better sustain, balance, and clarity. The BBT also allows for a thinner graduated top, thereby allowing Breedlove craftsmen to bring out optimal sound from the top wood without sacrificing structural stability.
- Breedlove Neck: A slimmer neck profile enables comfortable play, even with smaller hands. The adjustable play action and neck angle make for ideal playability.
