Westcott 1897 ScrimJim 4' x 4' Cine Frame

The Westcott Scrim Jim® 4 ft x 4 ft Cine frame comes with (4) 46" heavy-duty tubes, (4) corner connectors, and a strap for storage. When used along with 4 ft x 4 ft Scrim Jim Cine fabrics (sold separately), you can deflect, block, diffuse, and cut light either on-set and on-location. Westcott's Scrim Jim Cine is a complete modular framework, and is the ultimate light control system, allowing filmakers and photographers the ability to create and build lighting control tools needed for whatever lighting conditions they may encounter.

Constructed from heavy-duty anodized aluminum, their innovative design is lightweight, durable, and portable. Riveted to 2 sides of each tube is a heavy-duty touch fastener for quick, effortless mounting of Scrim Jim Cine Fabrics, Flex Portable Softboxes, and Flex LED Mats (all sold separately). An onboard 3/8-16 threaded receptacle on each Scrim Jim Cine frame tube offers instant mounting onto arms and stands.

Scrim Jim Cine Frames

Configurable in sizes from 1 x 1 up to 8 x 8 (ft), Scrim Jim's Frame tubes and pieces vary in size from 10" and upward, and allows users to fit an entire scrim system into a backpack or carry-on. A selection of various connection pieces gives endless potential frame configurations, letting users build diffusion boxes, v-flats, floppy cutters, book lights, and more with ease, while also offering interchangeability with all Scrim Jim Cine Frame sets, Scrim Jim Cine tubes, connectors, and fabrics (sold separately).

These frames and connectors are proudly built in the U.S.A. Product inspection and touch fastener installation is done at Lott Industries in Toledo, Ohio, which partners with the local Board of Developmental Disabilities to provide high-quality and engaging employment for individuals with mental disabilities.
