Although larger than the SurroundStone™ 5 model(s), SurroundStone™ 8 and XT SurroundStone™ 8 are still inconspicuous and their natural, weathered stone aesthetic is a great choice for amusement parks or other small-to-medium size public areas. Both SurroundStone™ 8 models have been re-engineered for improved dispersion characteristics, and they're available with transformers for low-voltage applications. The XT SurroundStone™ speakers brings a more uniform sound, tighter bass and improved water resistance of the prior version(s) of these omnidirectional, 360° horizontal speakers.

Rockustics speakers are built with a lift at higher frequencies for maximum dispersion in the open air, and the internal design of the speaker features non-parallel sides to minimize unnatural resonance transmitting audibly to the outside. In addition, Rockustics utilizes professionally manufactured crossovers for exceptional performance. When used in concert, specific frequency ranges filtered exclusively into the separate Rockustics subwoofers allow for optimum sound delivery - free from even the slightest trace of distortion.

Like all Rockustics Rock speakers, the Surround Stone products are constructed of a proprietary resin mixed with marble dust for extreme durability; the speakers” sealed systems provide strong water resistance. The products are available in three standard colors; the color is impregnated in the resin so it remains consistent throughout the rock, maintaining a realistic appearance even if the rock surface becomes chipped. Models with and without a 64-watt transformer are available.

Maintenance - To insure that your Rockustics speaker provides years of listening enjoyment, it is recommended that users gently rinse the speaker grille periodically. Use a low pressure stream of water to remove any accumulated dirt or debris from the large speaker grille. All Rockustics cabinets are constructed from a non-polluting stone and resin compound. The cabinets maintain a natural aesthetic, weather and age naturally, and are an earth-friendly alternative to plastic construction. To ensure 100% water and weatherproofing, all Rockustics products come as a sealed unit. Therefore, the inclusion of optional transformers must occur prior to completion by manufacturer.
