With the Roland V-1HD, it's super easy to connect - then switch - a plethora of video devices, including: video cameras, video players, computers, tablets, smart phones, and many other HDMI video sources. You can switch up to four video sources either via push button or by sliding the T-Fader. With this portable, affordable, and powerful switcher you can perform professional compositing effects like picture-in-picture (PIP) and keying - which allows for graphic insets, titling, and even "green screen", making this exceptional device ideal for all sorts of video production situations including corporate training, house of worship, news broadcast, and more. Also included are other advanced creative effects that can be used for transforming live event video into creative visuals to enhance performances of all kinds. Video mix output is as easy as connecting its HDMI output to a HDMI display or projector at an event or other location, as well as an HDMI recorder for event or production capture.

The V-1HD's 4-way multi-view preview screen shows all four input sources, with a red border indicating the current Program output, and green border showing the video to be output next. In addition, the preview output offers three available types of view modes: Multi-view, Preview, and Output (which is a secondary program output). Plus, the on-screen display is on/off switchable. Its audio capabilities allow you to mix/embed audio onto its output or de-embed incoming HDMI audio. This remarkable unit is also remotely controllable with your PC, Mac, or iPad via USB (using the dedicated V-1HD RCS app), while MIDI functionality offers control from a MIDI sequencer or musical instrument. And, with its compact form factor, all this power can even fit nicely in a large pocket.
