The Optoma HQView325 HQV™ Scaler features Warp Mapping, Edge Blending, and Black Level correction, with Best in Class professional image processing, in an affordable, compact package.

Optoma, collaborating with Calibre, has worked to produce special versions of Calibre’s edge blending and warping products, optimized for use with Optoma's ProScene series of projectors. This unique partnership has delivered reduced complexity and setup time needed for edge blending of multiple ProScene projectors, and with industry-leading ProScene technical support service coverage, should you need help with your edge blending projects.

Edge Blending Explained
Some applications need a higher resolution and brighter image than can be provided by a single projector, therefore requiring images to be projected from multiple units. Unless done well, the image can show visible "bands", indicating overlap of the projected images. Edge-blending technology is the solution to this problem – eliminating this visible banding – producing a single bright, high resolution image across the projection surface using multiple projectors. The HQView325 lets you precisely control multiple, edge-blended images quickly, easily, and seamlessly.

Keeping mindful of end-user applications, the HQView325 is designed to allow you to expertly and seamlessly edge-blend multiple, curved images on all 4 sides using an unlimited number of projectors. You get precise control of edge-blended images and warp displays for use on virtually any projection surface – flat or curved (for more information, see the "Optoma Simple Guides" under the "Documentation" tab above).

The Optoma Advantage
Traditional blending solutions can require complicated and time-consuming setup  – often with many incompatibilities between blending solutions and projectors. Optoma's blending solution resolves and eliminates this issue. The HQView325 has gone through meticulous testing with a series of optimized presets developed to greatly reduce the complexity and consequently, the setup time for blending projects.

If help is needed with your blending project, uniquely, Optoma's industry-leading ProAv support team is available to assist your complete blending project – blending boxes and projectors as a single system – greatly simplifying the support process for you, and enabling us to help you in quickly and efficiently getting your blending projects on track.

One of the world’s foremost projector designers and manufacturers for more than a decade, Optoma has been among very few companies with an exclusive focus on projectors.

Today, Optoma's range exemplifies the evolution of projection expertise, honed and refined through the manufacture and support of millions of projectors worldwide. This knowledge and skill has been siphoned into their products and support services, designed specifically for demanding pro applications, like:

Harnessing the potent capabilities of IDT's Reon™ video processor running state-of-the-art HQV algorithms within capably designed hardware and firmware from Calibre, Optoma's HQView325 is a high-performance yet compact image scaler with HDMI/DVI/Component/VGA inputs and HDMI/DVI output, to provide superb image quality for Broadcast, professional, and corporate AV users.

This useful unit features 4-sided soft edge blend along with multi-region black level correction for seamless multiple projector blending, as well as flexible geometry correction functionality for correcting image shape and projector misalignment, using drag and drop of each image corner, or using pin, rotation, and barrel, or using keystone and rotation.

It also comes with full warp-mapping capability. The easy warp map creation is provided through an included flexible and intuitive PC application, or 3rd party generated warp maps can also be processed from automatic image alignment systems. This makes the HQView325 ideal for aligning stacked projectors, along with curved screen multi-projector tiling.

Additionally, the HQView325 is digital I/O compatible with DVI and HDMI, including deep color support.

Automatic Geometric Alignment
The HQView325 is Scalable Ready certified, so it's compatible with Scalable Display Technologies products, providing automatic geometric alignment of displays. This camera-based, software-driven system auto-aligns displays with remarkable accuracy and speed, giving further simplification of the setup of warping and blending of projects.
