Softube SFT-XL9-1 XL 9000 K for Console 1 SSL Console Emulation Plugin for Console 1 Mixing System

Designed with a completely different approach than the included SSL 4000 E included with Softube's Channel 1 mixing system, the XL 9000 K for Console 1 console emulation plugin offers an extreme bandwidth, minimal phase shift, and super low distortion. This adds up to create a faithful reproduction of one of the most popular analog consoles for hip-hop, R&B, classical, and acoustic, where solid, deep low end and extended highs work great for getting that hyper modern, large, and wide sound.

XL 9000 K for Console 1 is also equipped with a model of SSL's Variable Harmonic Drive (VHD) circuit, which is part of the Duality console series and Alpha channel preamps. The VHD circuit allows you to use distortion in creative ways, with the Drive Knob determining the amount of distortion, and the Character knob moving the added distortion from 2nd order (tube-like sound) to 3rd order (transistor-like sound), or any in-between blend, just like its analog counterpart.

This plugin also includes a fully controllable gate unit, where Punch and Sustain knobs control Range and Hold levels. These functions make this gate more controllable comparred to the SL 4000 E model included with Console 1, where a fast workflow was prioritized. Additionally, the compressor in the XL 9000 K for Console 1 can be switched between Peak and RMS modes, which gives a wide range of options for effective compression.

The XL 9000 K for Console 1 includes licenses for VST, VST3, Audio Units (AU), and AAX native versions, allowing for compatibility with most major DAWs on the market today.
