Apollo Design Technology offers the AP-GEL-4850, which is an Apollo Robin's Egg Blue gel sheet which produces a medium aqua color. This gel color is good for a moonlight through trees look. Also good for specific costume colors, but bad for skin tones.

Production companies and photographic markets use these plastic filters to add color to stage scenery and to provide color correction for theatre, film, and television. Gel creates mood by changing the color shade of light. This filter is intended for short-term use, usually 6-10 hours.

• There are two widely-accepted gel manufacturing processes: double-coated and deep dyed. Apollo gel is double-coated because many designers appreciate the color consistency found in the double-coated process.
