The D'Addario NYXL1356W guitar string set features a medium wound 3rd/G string for players looking for more tension in their strings for playing in drop tunings or in a traditional "jazz" setup. This string set is part of the NYXL Series, which are designed and manufactured in New York, and feature break-resistant high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloys that deliver excellent strength. These strings also deliver incredible tuning stability thanks to their completely redesigned wire drawing process coupled with D'Addario's "fusion twist" process for the plain steels, and the reformulated nickel plated windings have greater magnetic properties for higher output and greater mid-range frequency response.
