D'Addario's NYXL1152 guitar string set is a hybrid Medium Top/Heavy Bottom set from their NYXL Series that offers moderate flexibility on the high strings with booming, tight low end. NYXL strings were designed and manufactured in New York, and feature break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloys that deliver excellent strength. These strings also deliver incredible tuning stability thanks to their completely redesigned wire drawing process coupled with D'Addario's "fusion twist" process for the plain steels, and the reformulated nickel plated string windings have greater magnetic properties for higher output and greater mid-range frequency response.
