Product Overview

The dbx 530 Parametric EQ offers equalization flexibility not seen in many other products, all packed in the popular 500 Series format. It's is an uncompromising equalizer offering true, fully parametric operation of all three filter bands. Since dbx has a much-heralded history with modular processors dating back to their 905 equalizer and other 900 Series products, you can rest assured that you'll be receiving an equalizer with a legacy of high performance.

The dbx 530's overlapping bands each offer control of frequency bandwidth (Q) and up to 15 dB of reciprocal cut or boost to provide exact, complimentary filter action for the most demanding of equalization needs. For problem situations requiring the removal of spurious signals, each of the bands can be independently switched into "infinite notch" mode without affecting the operation of others. The 530's high and low bands can be independently switched from peaking to shelving operation, giving you options for any acoustic situation. Or, if you don't need it at all for a particular venue, just bypass it entirely with the 530's on/off switch.

Load up your 500 Series rack with the dbx 530 to carve your mix into the piece of art it was destined to be!
