Small but mighty, the GY-HM170U brings high-end JVC features and 4K Ultra HD to your productions without getting in the way. Versatile enough to shoot stunning 4K full HD or space-saving yet equally impressive 4:2:2 Full HD at 50Mbps makes the 170U is the right camera for any application. The 1/2.3 4K CMOS sensor displays high sensitivity for beautifully detailed image capture in a variety of lighting conditions. Internal recording to SDHC/SDXC memory cards (sold separately) yields hours of HD recording in-the-field and all you need is your GY-HM170U. The camera downconverts UHD footage to standard HD for direct playback from the camera via an onboard HDMI connection. A simultaneous record option lets you choose between instant backup or extended capture time to fit your current workflow. Video this good deserves audio to match, so JVC included a removable handle that offers professional XLR audio connections and control.
