Interactive Technologies' CueServer CS-840 is a complete lighting playback and integration processor, featuring advanced DMX lighting control, sophisticated event scripting and robust I/O capabilities combined in a tiny web-based device. Great for both architectural and entertainment lighting control projects, CueServer provides an unprecedented level of control and customization in an easy-to-use package.

CueServer includes a built-in web server that provides access to a full complement of lighting controls, show programming and playback features without the need for special software or an Internet connection.

Apps for iPhone and iPad are available for direct control and/or programming of CueServer, or use with other 3rd party software that have been written to use CueServer as its DMX interface.

After CueServer is programmed, it can function as a stand-alone show controller, leveraging its built-in real-time clock/calendar, astronomical time functions, button and contact closure inputs, and wide variety of event triggers to interact with the outside world. Integrate CueServer with other external devices via RS-232 serial, Ethernet connectivity and more for fully custom lighting and show control solutions.

CueServer Applications

Architectural
CueServer easily controls DMX controlled lighting fixtures commonly found on building exteriors, in foyers, ballrooms, convention halls, and in other decorative architectural lighting projects.
Architectural lighting cues can be triggered by CueServer's built-in clock on any time of the day, on any day of the week, and each day of the year. Need special weekend or holiday schedules? CueServer's battery-backed real-time clock can handle it.
Many architectural projects need astronomical time functions as well. CueServer can calculate sunrise and sunset times for a given location every day of the year and automatically adjust its lighting schedules.
Building management and automation systems from other manufacturers can be interfaced with CueServer by way of Ethernet and RS-232 for fully integrated solutions. And other CueServer features, like custom user interface options, contact closure inputs, and show control can all be utilized to produce complete lighting control packages.

Entertainment
CueServer fits perfectly into a wide range of Entertainment Lighting projects by combining it's robust DMX features with a rich set of I/Os, timers, and flexible scripting language.
CueServer can be used to provide simple playback for a small group of DMX controlled lighting fixtures or can be programmed to coordinate an entire show control routine that involves lighting, external devices, timers, user-interface triggers, timecode synchronization and much more.
Use CueServer to play back or coordinate lighting shows in all kinds of entertainment projects, including theme park attractions, concerts, night clubs, cruise ships, museum exhibits, multimedia presentations and much more.
CueServer's unique combination of real-time streaming DMX record and playback with it's ability to use scene snapshots and local scene programming make CueServer easy to work with, program and adapt to nearly any Entertainment playback project.
CueServer's flexible options for attaching button stations, creating custom user interfaces or even just allowing it to trigger it's own schedule of events can make CueServer a truly "stand-alone" lighting controller.

Residential
When adding DMX-controlled lighting fixtures (such as LED cove strips, pool color changers or disco lighting) to a residential project, CueServer is the perfect DMX integration controller.
In small systems, CueServer can control lighting looks and can be directly connected to simple pushbutton stations or LCD panels for stand-alone operation.
For larger installations, CueServer can be interfaced with popular whole-house control systems from Crestron®, Vantage®, AMX® and others via RS-232 or even Ethernet networking. In these installations, the home automation system can do what it does best, and CueServer can manage and control the DMX fixtures in a project.
CueServer is easy for the system installer to set up and program, and it's simple ASCII-based command language can be used to easily interface with external devices such as automation systems, security panels and others.

Retail
From precise control of brightness of every table in a restaurant to unique color changing lighting in storefront windows, CueServer delivers flexible, and easy-to-use lighting control for retail applications.
A built in scheduler with time, date, day of week, sunset and sunrise options can automatically trigger lighting scenes or show playback without user intervention.
Flexible options for connecting button stations, LCD panels or other interfaces make CueServer easy to operate for facility staff.
CueServer can tirelessly drive dimmers, color changing LED fixtures and moving lights to provide that unique impact that keeps customers returning for more.

Studio
In many television applications, preset stage looks need to be recalled at a moments notice without the complexity of leaving a full-sized lighting console out in the open.
CueServer can provide complete control over every dimmer in a facility while only exposing an LCD touchscreen or button station for the stage manager to use.
When it's time to refocus the lights, CueServer can be programmed directly or snapshots can be taken from a temporary lighting console.
