So thankful that Compass offers this product! My battery pack had eroded batteries and it wouldn't work for my Roland Cube. This replacement gave new life to my Roland CUBE. Thank you!

I could easily just carry 8 AA batteries, charged and ready, in a little case and swap them out if needed. But this makes it SO much easier! Two thumbscrews, pop a whole, filled case out, pop a fresh whole, filled case in. Back to playing, and deal with the batteries at home. I have about decided that (with this bit of kit added) that I prefer the CUBE this way, than with an internal battery and charger. Fresh charge is faster this way.

Although a bit expensive for what it is -not Full Compass's fault, I'm sure- this is a handy battery pack to have as spare for Roland Cube Street EX & BA-55. I use rechargeable AA batteries, and always have extra charged battery packs ready to go. WITH THAT SAID... It's a great pity Roland doesn't make a charger that allows recharging of the loaded battery pack at once without disassembly and reloading the individual cells, and an even greater pity that charging isn't built right into the amp.

Cube wasn't working when battery operated. Suspected in was the holder. Sure enough. As soon as I replaced the older hold with the new, it worked perfectly. Was very glad.

This is a great piece! I found a bonus feature not listed in the manual - just add water and it grows another Cube Street EX... just like planting seeds! Woot! Just joking - it’s a battery box - not much to say, except that it’s great to have a spare battery pack in case I forget to charge the night before my busking adventure!
