The HC63BW is a sturdy, double-braced boom cymbal stand. It features the Roadpro Quick-Set tilter which allows easy positioning of cymbals at virtually any angle.

Quick-Set Tilter (US. PAT.NO.7385127): TAMA's patented toothless Quick-Set Tilter marks another TAMA advancement in hardware. Relying on basic principles of physics, the Quick-Set Tilter holds its position using the friction of six smooth metal disc plates instead of traditional toothed gears, so you can adjust it to any desired angle. This mechanism also has a more durable structure than a conventional gear tilter.
Nylon Washers: By inserting nylon washers into the leg stand joints Tama improved durability and made the leg action much smoother!
Boom/Straight Convertible Tilter: Don't let limited stage space cramp your style! If there's no room for a boom, simply convert the stand to a straight stand. The boom arm stores neatly in the upper tube.
Steel Insert Nut: Placing a threaded steel insert nut inside the tripod base provides much more strength and makes stripping much less likely than with the traditional method of cutting the threads directly into the die-cast section.
Reversible Bottom (US. PAT.NO.6239343): The cymbal bottom protects the cymbal's center hole from the tilter's shaft and threads. If part of the nylon sleeve wears out, you can continue to use the cymbal bottom by turning it upside down.
Noiseless Design (US. PAT.NO.6454483): Are cymbal stands just for supporting cymbals? Tama thinks cymbal stands are also musical instruments. All TAMA cymbal stands in the Roadpro and Stage Master lineups were designed with the elimination of stand noise a top priority. A special rubber cap (A) at the end of the upper tube eliminates swaying and rattling, and a special nylon sleeve (B) underneath the die-cast joint of the base section further reduces swaying.
Die-cast Joint: You loosen and tighten the T-bolt/nut of the die-castjoint every time you change the height of the cymbal, making the T-bolt/nutone of the hardest-working parts. At each die-cast joint, the T-nut/bolt iscombined with a pressure plate and Nylon Bushing. With this design, removingand replacing a worn bolt or bushing is fast and easy.
