Teranex Express from Blackmagic Design is a real time SD, HD and Ultra HD broadcast standards converter. Featuring advanced patented algorithms, Teranex Express gives you the visually transparent, high-quality conversions that are mandated by major broadcasters and studios worldwide. You get an incredible 1089 SD, HD and Ultra HD up, down and standards conversions in full 10-bit quality. You also get amazing processing with high quality de-interlacing, noise reduction, automatic cadence detection, removal and correction even with edited content, adjustable scaling and aspect ratio conversion, all with full timecode and multi-channel audio conversion.
The front panel looks identical to other Teranex models so it’s easy to use. It includes dual link 6G-SDI in and out, but channel A is 12G-SDI. This means it can also convert between dual link 6G-SDI connections and single link 12G-SDI connections. It also has an optical fiber socket so you can add optical fiber SDI connections by adding an optical module if required.
NOTE: Blackmagic does not include IEC cables on this product. We recommend also buying a C2G 03133, a 6’ IEC universal power cable.
