The BLACKJACK utilizes the famous Blackmagic ATEM fiber camera converter (ordered separately) featuring 2 channels of bidirectional video, talkback, mic inputs & tally for any SDI or HDMI camera or camcorder! The BLACKJACK ruggedizes the ATEM with a heavy duty Neutrik opticalCON broadcast connector for real world field production.

The BLACKJACK-1 also has many low cost camera mount & power options for V-Lock, Anton Bauer and rail applications. Complete BLACKJACK packages are available as well as custom length fiber cable reels & other solutions all designed to lower on-camera broadcast fiber costs!

Basic Blackmagic Design ATEM Camera-Converter has a rugged metal hosting platform with Neutrik OpticalCON and integrated strain relief points for all cable attachments and solid protection coverage for the dual LC optical connection on the Blackmagic ATEM unit. Consists of top and bottom precision laser cut metal plates designed easy for assembly. Available optional Sandwich Plates can be attached to the top plate or the bottom of the platform providing hole patterns for both Anton Bauer and IDX mounting/adapting options for mounting the hosting platform onto battery mounts and for battery feed through adapter plate to be installed under the hosting platform effectively sandwiching the ATEM in between a battery and a camera. Top and bottom plates front edges are extended out past he perimeter of the Blackmagic ATEM Camera Converter edges to prevent accidental activation of any control buttons on the ATEM unit keeping to operator's settings secure during production further ruggedizing the ATEM for real world field use.
