Point Source CR-8D-BE SERIES8 Cardioid Headset Microphone, Beige

This CR-8D model from Point Source Audio is part of their SERIES8 lineup. It's a cardioid dual-ear headset style microphone – colored beige – that's ideal in applications where more than one mic is being used, in live performances, and even in some recording situations. The cardioid mic will pick up one focused sound from one direction compared to an omnidirectional mic that picks up from basically all directions. A unique benefit of the SERIES8 units is that the capsule is specially miniaturized and it's not necessary to force the mic's positioning to be directly in front of the mouth as you may find with other cardioid microphones. This headset mic's boom can be set to effectively and comfortably at the corner of the mouth so an unobstrusive appearance is more easily achieved; built with Point Source's robust "Unbreakable Boom", bendable to 360°, it features an adjustable boom length, and the earhooks are convertable for left or right side wearablility. In addition, it features an interchangeable X-Connector, allowing usage with all popular wireless packs (one X-Connector included-please specify when ordering. Additional X-Connectors, sold separately). The X-Connectors have a threaded screw connection so they are simple to remove, but remain secure while in use.
