The MagicQ MQ60 is part of a new generation of small and lightweight MagicQ Consoles specifically designed for travelling lighting designers. This compact console fits within the hand luggage restrictions of all the major budget airlines including Ryanair, Easyjet and Southwest. It provides an immensely powerful complete control console in an ultra compact size, ideal for easy transport and fitting into small spaces. Well-suited for controlling lighting, video and LED, this console is also great for testing lighting on stage or in the warehouse.
The MagicQ MQ60 features the same familiar and flexible GUI lighting control, media server connectivity options and built-in Pixel Mapper found in all other MagicQ consoles, and uses the same software and show formats, enabling compatibility between all products in the MagicQ range. It supports 12 universes over Ethernet using Art-Net I, II or III, Pathport, Strand Shownet, or sACN. In addition there are 4 fully patchable direct DMX outputs on the rear panel. For larger shows, the console can be used as a net wing connected to a PC or Mac running MagicQ software to control 64 universes.
The MagicQ MQ60 incorporates high reliability components, including high durability metal Neutrik Ethercon locking connectors for easy and reliable networking. As with other MagicQ consoles, the Ethernet switch is protected by the built-in UPS, thus ensuring that both the console and the network switch maintain operation even during a power loss. Low power consumption means the console does not require a fan, enabling silent operation for studio and FOH positions.
The MagicQ MQ60 also features a built-in touch screen plus an external monitor output for a separate display, which can be a USB or serial touch screen. An additional three monitors or touch screens can be connected using networked computers.
