Product Overview

The PPA T46 transmitter—part of the Personal PA® line from Williams AV—is capable of broadcasting a speaker's voice or audio program on one of 17 available channels within the 72-76 MHz frequency range, to listeners who are using PPA R38 or PPA R37 receivers (sold separately). It features versatile microphone and auxiliary input jacks, along with push-button on/off/mute controls, channel lock and selectable compression. The unit also has the ability to operate in dual-channel mode, enabling the user to easily switch between 2 discreet transmitting channels, each with its own setup parameters. It's onboard OLED screen displays current operating status as well as menu information. It can operate up to 30 hours on 2 AA Alkaline batteries, and up to 20 hours with 2 NiMH batteries (sold separately). It has recharge capability when used with Williams AV drop-in chargers. The PPA T46 is portable and lightweight, and operates at a range of up to 150ft (46m) from the listening audience. It's ideal for providing hearing assistance to students in the classroom, tour group participants and more.
