OUR PART # UR28M-PD-BUNDLE
Steinberg's UR28M interface delivers high-resolution audio with striking clarity. Connecting via USB 2.0, the DSP-powered console features digital and analog I/O with D-PRE mic preamps.
Designed for easy access to controls and connectors, the UR28M’s console comes with a single prominent output volume knob for individually controlling the levels of one of three stereo output pairs or the levels of six outputs simultaneously. You can also select between three monitoring mixes set up in the dspMixFx mixer or Cubase which is routed to the selected outputs. Several smaller rotary knobs to control signal levels of inputs 1 and 2 and the levels of the two headphone outputs. while further dedicated switches for inputs 1 and 2 allow you to employ 48 volt phantom power, 26 dB signal attenuation and connecting high-impedance instruments. Other controls include the Dim button for attenuating all line output signals by 20 dB, the Mono button and the Mute button for muting the selected output signal. Four-segment LED meterings for the inputs and the output are also available on the UR28M console.
The UR28M represents a top-notch recording system with plenty of inputs and outputs to connect to microphones, instruments, studio monitors and headphones. There’s a USB connector to hook up to either your Mac or PC that lets you record and mix your productions with the included Cubase AI workstation or other audio software.
The rear panel provides two TRS line inputs and two Neutrik combo TRS/XLR mic/line inputs alongside six analog balanced TRS outputs plus a coaxial S/PDIF input and output connector. Also included is a 1/8 inch stereo input jack for connecting to a portable audio player or other devices as a reference source.
Lay down deeply dynamic drum grooves, play natural percussion patterns and control your favorite DAW functions — all from one intuitive interface. With 16 highly responsive, backlit rubber pads, a rotary encoder and dedicated working modes, the CMC-PD is a multipurpose pad controller designed to improve your beat creation, recording and live performance workflow.
The centerpiece of the CMC-PD is formed by 16 highly responsive rubber pads, laid out in an MPC-style 4x4 matrix. The pads allow you to create stunningly natural drum grooves and complex rhythmic patterns with the touch of your fingers. Best of all, the LED-based background lights change colors according to the velocity level — from green to orange over to red. In addition, the practical rotary encoder allows you to browse sounds and presets in next to no time.
The 4x4 layout makes the CMC-PD the ideal hardware partner for MPC-style, virtual drum samplers such as Steinberg’s Groove Agent ONE or external hardware sound modules. But the CMC-PD also works wonders as an all-in-one DAW control desk. And with the included PD Editor software you can easily change the MIDI note assignment for each pad.
