Evans BD22HG 22" Hydraulic Glass Drum Head

The Evans Hydraulic Glass double ply skin is for a 22" Bass Drum Batter Head. An Evans tradition, hydraulic bass heads are deep, and produce that Funk `n groove of the 70s classic sound with a short sustain. You can tension it tight for a real thump or loose and slappy. Two plies sandwich a thin layer of oil between 0.178 mm and 0.165 mm skins. This gives the fat, wet sound that was pioneered in the 70's. The oil decreases sustain and enhances attack and low-end.
