SKM 2000XP

The hand-held transmitter of the 2000 series shows its strength: during use, in its performance, in its features. Sennheiser's technical know-how is shown through its switchable transmission power, intuitive menu navigation, an easy-to-read graphic display and external charging contacts for charging the optional rechargeable batteries directly. SKM 2000 is compatible with all ew capsules, including the MMK 965-1 true condenser capsule, whose wired version, e 965, has already proven to be a great success.

KK204 Cardioid Capsule

The KK204 is the capsule of the KMS 104 vocal microphone, exclusively for use with the Sennheiser SKM 2000 wireless system. The capsule head provides the best possible suppression of sound originating from 180° to the rear. These new capsules from Neumann provide natural warmth with no exaggerated bass boost, and are a perfect complement to the powerful, reliable 2000 Series.

  • Reduced handling noise – very low sensitivity to handling noise with a steep roll-off from approximately 78 Hz
  • Reduced plosives (‘p’ popping) and sibilance (harsh ‘s’ sounds) – both capsules feature a foam lined grille to ensure smooth sound
  • Wide dynamic range with high SPL capability – 126 dB-A of dynamic range with 150 dB MAX SPL
  • Low feedback – Incredibly smooth and flat frequency response provided high gain before feedback

EM 2050

Equipped with the same features as EM 2000 but designed as a twin receiver, EM 2050 makes it possible for the RF signal to be looped through with the help of an integrated active splitter. With this design, you can set up systems with up to 16 channels without using external splitters. An integrated equalizer and guitar tuning device complete the package.

Consumer Alert

This particular wireless microphone device operates in portions of the 617-652 MHz or 663-698 MHz frequencies. Beginning in 2017, these frequencies are being transitioned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to the 600 MHz service to meet increasing demand for wireless broadband services. Users of this device must cease operating on these frequencies no later than July 13, 2020. In addition, users of this device may be required to cease operations earlier than that date if their operations could cause harmful interference to a 600 MHz service licensee’s wireless operations on these frequencies. For more information, visit the FCC’s wireless microphone website at or call the FCC at 1- 888-CALL-FCC (TTY: 1-888-TELL-FCC).
