The AK SU/2U from Schoeps is a breakout Y-cable that works with stereo microphones MSTC 64 U (ORTF) and CMXY 4V U (X/Y microphone - note: microphones solds separately).

Additionally, this single stereo XLR-5F jack to (2) XLR-3M connectors, when used in combination with its inverse counterpart (AK 2U/SU: 2x XLR-3F to XLR-5M - sold separately) as well as a KS 5 U (XLR-5 extension cable - sold separately), makes it possible to employ just one cable for a stereo setup.

Color coding:

  • channel I = Yellow
  • channel II = Red
