The Electro-Voice TX1152 is a high performance speaker featuring an EV SMX woofer, which yields extraordinarily low levels of distortion without sacrificing sensitivity. The backbone grille design is aesthetically remarkable while also damage-resistant, and the input panels and handle are ergonomically designed for maximum comfort and utility. Steep slope analog crossovers with elliptical filters provide up to 36dB per octave slopes, greatly reducing acoustic transducer interaction for better sound and higher power handling. Finally, the floor monitors feature a patent-pending SST (Signal Synchronized Transducers) design which utilizes a split baffle layout, allowing the enclosure to be more compact and yielding near-perfect driver phase summation.
