Apollo Design Technology AP-GEL-7050 20" x 24" Sheet of "Fatherless Amber" Gel

Apollo Design Technology offers the AP-GEL-7050, the "Fatherless Amber"-colored 20" x 24" standard gel sheet. It's designed for short-term use, usually 6-10 hours.

Production companies and photographic markets use these plastic filters to add color to stage scenery and to provide color correction for theatre, film, and television. Gel creates mood by changing the color shade of light.

There are two widely-accepted gel manufacturing processes: double-coated and deep dyed. Apollo gel is double-coated because many designers appreciate the color consistency found in the double-coated process.

"Fatherless Amber" Possible Uses / Suggestions: Good on some skin tones. A bit orange. A commonly used warm color.
