Product Overview
The Audio-Technica AT8015 is designed especially for video production and Broadcast (ENG - electronic news gathering/EFP - electronic field production) audio acquisition. It features the narrow acceptance angle that's desirable for long-distance sound pickup, plus excellent sound rejection from the rear and sides of the mic. Engaging the mic's roll-off circuitry reduces the pickup of low-frequency ambient noise (like traffic, air-handling systems, etc.), room reverberation and mechanically-coupled vibrations. Additionally, it can be either battery- or phantom-powered.
