The U857QLU UniLine® condenser mic combines an advanced capsule design with carefully engineered internal electronics to deliver clear, consistent sound for a variety of installed applications. The longer (23.74") version of the U857QU (19.17", sold separately), this quality mic is supplied with Audio-Technica’s interchangeable UniLine® line-cardioid element providing a narrow 90° acceptance angle. It's made to plug directly into a panel- or desk-mounted XLRF-type connector, and its ultra-flexible, robust gooseneck enables easy adjustment into the desired form while resisting inadvertent repositioning. Featuring UniGuard® innovations that offer unrivaled immunity from radio frequency interference (RFI), it accepts other interchangeable elements (sold separately) available in cardioid, hypercardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns. Additionally, it's a phantom-powered microphone that also comes with an 80Hz low-cut UniSteep® filter for reduced pickup of low-frequency (LF) ambient noise.
