Atlas IED 198-8-8 Extra Deep Rectangular Enclosure for 8" Loudspeakers

A square enclosure used for mounting Atlas sound grilles on 8" speakers, the 198-8-8 can be used for ceiling or wall mounting in 8" depth applications. The 198-8-8 features a welded CRS (cold rolled steel) construction and added undercoating. This attention to detail means these enclosures eliminate mechanical and acoustic resonances, allowing the speaker to deliver a clean, natural-sounding reproduction.

The additional depth of this enclosure along with a generous fiberglass filling enhances the speaker's low-frequency response, creating a deeper, richer bass.
