The Telex HR-1 is a single-sided, medium-weight, passive noise reduction headset with dynamic noise-canceling microphone. The headset has a noise reduction rating of 21dB, making it suitable for use in a moderately noisy environment. The ergonomic, moleskin-covered headband design distributes the ear-cushion pressure evenly over the entire ear with no pressure points, ensuring hours of comfortable wear. An added advantage of the HR-1’s design is that it folds into compact form for ease of transport and storage. 5' cord terminates with an A4F connector.

Again, I gave less stars because I did not receive the exact product I ordered . I ordered the Telex HR1 and I received a RTS branded headset with different markings and headband cushion. The headset works and I suspect it is basically the same as the Telex except for the cushioning and the markings. The paperwork indicated it was a Bosch and I understand Bosch is the parent company of Telex and RTS.
