Product Overview

Engineered to meet the most critical acoustic requirements of professional recording, broadcast and live sound capture, the AT4041 is a premium-quality electret cardioid condenser studio microphone. It features a smooth, extended frequency response with a slight rise in the high-frequency region and transformerless output to accomodate very high sound pressure levels (SPLs). It provides a unique combination of audio excellence combined with moderate cost, and is a rugged mic housed in a case of turned brass with black chrome plating, offering both durability and low reflectivity. The mic element's back plate holds a fixed charge and has been aged to provide energy stabilization. In addition, the surface of this back plate is precision-milled to assure maximum charge linearity, resulting in a reduction in both frequency response peaks and diaphragm break-up distortion.

Applications

Ideal for:

Drum overheads • Acoustic guitar • Piano • Horns • Under snare pickup
