Full Compass Donates $13,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County

Middleton, WI – Full Compass, a national leader in sales of professional audio, video, A/V, and lighting products, has been an active supporter of local and national charities since it’s inception in 1977. Full Compass’ philosophy is that with their success comes the opportunity to give back to those less fortunate, and nearly 100% of their employees contribute to one or more company-sponsored charities. Many also assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events throughout the year.

On April 3rd, the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County held their Building Winners Luncheon at the Allied Family Center in Madison, WI. This is one of the largest yearly events the organization holds and it is a major piece of their National Boys & Girls Club Week celebration. Susan Lipp, President of Full Compass, was the chairperson for the luncheon and employees of Full Compass provided a band for entertainment, as well as cartage for all of the chairs, tables and equipment. In addition to helping run the event, Full Compass presented a check for $13,000 to the Boys & Girls Club – money raised at their annual golf outing to support the group.

The Boys & Girls Club of Dane County provides young people with the tools they need to succeed in life. The organization has several programs to develop skills including Character and Leadership, Education and Career, Arts and Cultural Enrichment, Sports and Recreation, as well as Health and Life Skills. Other services include after-school tutoring, a computer lab with Internet access, summer job placement, and youth leadership groups for community service, anti-drug, and gang prevention. Every year the Boys & Girls Club of Dane County gives hundreds of kids a safe, positive environment where they can learn and play. Full Compass will proudly support this exceptional organization now and for years to come.
