Full Compass Customer Chuck Grove Wins QSC "Obsessed" Contest Grand Prize

Middleton, WI - Full Compass is thrilled to announce that one of our customers, Chuck Grove, has won the grand prize for QSC’s “Obsessed” contest held in the fall/winter of 2007. Over the last 35 years, QSC has earned a legendary reputation for providing rugged, reliable products, and stories poured in from around the country describing the extreme conditions these products have survived for years and even generations.

Known on the QSC Obsessed Forum as “Hayseed”, Chuck submitted his winning entry titled “My MX-1500” on September 18, 2007. The story begins with his pair of QSC amps being fully submerged after a sewer backup, and later dropped from the back of a U-Haul after a neglectful drummer forgot to secure the latch. Even after this torture, the amps worked flawlessly. Chuck noted the respect given to his QSC amps after bailing out numerous local bands after their “shiny, new” amps failed to function properly. To this day, he still dusts off his MX-1500’s on occasion to test them and has never been disappointed.
