On October 23rd and 24th, we hosted a free 2-day Expo to celebrate the opening of our new 140,000 square foot facility. The event took place from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. CST both days, and was streamed live on the web site to allow customers, business partners, friends and family across the nation to participate in this special event. To catch up on what went on during the Expo, check out all of the highlights including manufacturer demonstrations, exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage now available on GearCast! Over 80 manufacturers exhibited at the Expo. Attendees were treated to an assortment of delicious food prepared by Full Compass' restaurant, the "Backstage Bistro". Those present also had the opportunity to win thousands of dollars in giveaways by spinning the Full Compass Prize Wheel. A grand prize giveaway was awarded to the following six lucky winners: |

Live music took place on the main stage throughout the Expo, showcasing many different musical genres. Midwest electronic harmonica player Westside Andy and Glenn Davis played the blues, Richard Wiegel showed off his "finger style" acoustic guitar skills and Sergei Belkin demonstrated his expertise on the accordion.
Other performances included a theatrical display by the Forward Theater Group, a string performance by a group of Suzuki method violinists, an excerpt from Julius Caesar by The Young Shakespeare Players of Madison, and a dance and spoken word performance by UW-Madison's First Wave Hip-Hop Theater Ensemble. Popular Madison-area bands Super Tuesday, Soul Shaker and Trailer Kings also performed, while 10-year old blues guitar prodigy, Tallen Latz, lit up the stage on Saturday afternoon.
