The AJA CION is a 4K/UHD and 2K/HD production camera that records directly to Apple ProRes 422 and 444 at up to 4KFullcompass LogoDefinition:
3840x2160-pixel video resolution. This is also often called Ultra HD or UHD. Also resolution of 4096x2160, which is popular in the film industry.
60 fps or output AJA Raw at up to 4K 120fps. CION features an ergonomic design and open connectivity to give complete flexibility in the field or studio.

The video presented was shot on CION in Grass Valley and Nevada City California. Shooting took place over three days during the first week of September 2014. The UltraHD 23.98 fps normal speed shots were acquired in camera as ProRes 4444; the slow motion shots were acquired as ProRes 422 with the camera operating at 59.94fps and files saved in-camera as 23.98fps.
